Blue moon

I’ve been asleep for way too long

Lost in a dream world of my own

Dreaming about all that is wrong

I’m like a dog without its bone.

You said you’d come and I still wait

But time has passed and I got old

Maybe I will meet you at the Golden Gate

For soon enough I will be cold.

The blue moon rose above my head

With all my strength I look around

It seems as I have been misled

You’re still not here and I am downed.

It seems as if my fate is sealed

To walk this earth forever half

My true intentions deep concealed

Hidden away behind a laugh.

I see them all around me every day

People running to achieve their goals

When all I have is a shade of grey

For no one joins me in my strolls.

I’m missing what I needed most

There’s nothing else anyone craves

A single person whom to trust

A single soul split in two graves.

Having my thoughts just for myself

I walk around the world aimless

When my words will be in the bookshelf

I will be forever drown below the surface.

Wish

You came to me within a dream,

I miss you more than it would seem,

You stood by me for a whole night

I wish the morning never brought daylight…

I saw you more beautiful than ever

As your image stuck to me forever,

I gazed upon you with amaze,

I wish the morning didn’t set my dream ablaze…

Walking together, with you by my side

I took you to be forever my bride.

You smiled at me gently and then, oh, surprise:

I wish the morning never brought sunrise…

I was shown our future, our family and lives

And we lived forever under clear, sunny skies.

We loved each other greatly as the time passed by,

I wish the morning didn’t make me say goodbye…

Wherever you’ll be and whatever you’ll do,

I will always be in your heart for you.

And if one day sunrise finds me next to you,

I wish the morning makes you say “I do!”.
